Pursued from 2014 Feb to 2017 may, at Mazumdar Shaw Cancer Centre, Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospital, Bangalore under Dr Sharat Damodar and team. This Course involved learning and experience in treating, managing benign hematology and Hemato oncology patients. The course has a specific curriculum for transplantation and comprehensive management of Leukemia patients. Presented 3 research papers, oral presentation in National conferences, 2 poster presentation at International conference (APBMT 2016 Singapore, BTG 2016 China). Mine dissertation was “The Prevalence of the aberrant antigenic expression in acute leukemia in a tertiary care hospital” which got selected at national board and presently has submitted for publication at a national journal. During my training I Worked at CMC, Vellore as a Clinical observer in Hemato-Oncology and bone marrow transplantation unit in 2016
Training in Bone Marrow Transplantation:
I underwent training in bone marrow transplantation at the same hospital (Mazumdar Shaw Cancer Centre, Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospital, Bangalore) during mine residency, where around 150 transplants per year are going on. I received best training in bone marrow transplantation (14 bedded unit) which including matched sibling, unrelated donor and haplo - identical donors (Both PtCy and alpha beta depleted grafts) transplantation. I Have wide exposure in both allogenic and autologous transplant using bone marrow and peripheral blood stem cells for various benign and malignant disorders like Thalassemia, Sickle cell anemia, Aplastic Anaemia, Leukemia, Lymphomas, host of immunodeficiency disorders, Multiple myelomas and advanced Pediatric solid tumors.
